Märklin 37225 E94 and E194 German Crocodile
![]()
The E94 and E194 are known as the German Crocodile and consist of a central section and two moving noses. The E 94 electric locomotives were built after 1940 and are designed for heavy freight trains but also used for passenger trains.
Märklin 39800 V200 021
Heavy diesel hydraulic locomotive in the first “old” red color scheme. The V200 021 started operation for the Deutche Bundebahn in October 1956.
The heavy metal version of the marklin V200 is one of my favorite locomotives, primarily because of nostalgic reasons.
Märklin 37772 VT 04.5
The VT 04.5 was used between 1953 and 1955 as a long-distance diesel train. The trains were deployed from Frankfurt-Griesheim, Stuttgart, Bielefeld and from Munich-Pasingen. The VT 05 101 was taken out of operation in 1955. The SVT’s used by the occupying forces, and retuned to the DB between 1955 and 1958, were never used by the DB.
